Paper Submissions


The submission process is organized in two steps:

  • Abstract submission before the conference starts.
  • Paper submission after the conference (only for the paper presented at the IECS) for publication in:
    • A book entitled Emerging Issues in the Global Economy that will be submitted to an International Publishing House;
    • Journals supporting IECS 2017.

 

ABSTRACTS:

An extended abstract (200-250 words) in English (Microsoft Word format) should be submitted via Easychair system, no later than April 10, 2017. Abstracts should describe the aims of the paper, methodology and preliminary results. All abstracts should contain the title, authors’ names, affiliation and email address, 3-5 keywords and JEL classification (please see Abstract Template ).

All accepted abstracts will be published in an Abstract Book (with ISSN number) that will be distributed to all conference participants at the registration desk.
If your paper is accepted for presentation at the conference, you are expected to serve as a session chair.

PAPERS:

After the conference, authors should submit the paper presented at the IECS via EasyChair system to be reviewed for publishing in one of the IECS 2017 publications (according to their Templates received through e-mail), no later than May 30, 2017.  EasyChair is open for updates of previously submitted paper.
Participants can send either an individual paper or two papers in collaboration. The organizing committee will not accept papers with more than 3 co-authors.
All submissions will be subject to a double blind review processand evaluated for originality, significance, clarity, and contribution.
